Contact Types
Understand the role categories Parcel assigns to contacts.
Contact types describe the professional role a person holds in the development ecosystem, either at their organization or on a specific project.
Type values

How types are assigned
Contact types are extracted from project documents using Parcel’s document parser. Names and roles are identified in permit applications, entitlement filings, and other public records, then matched to contact records through identity resolution.
