Quincy
Parcel's coverage of the Quincy construction and development market.
Quincy is a live Parcel market. Parcel ingests the published agendas and minutes of three City of Quincy boards: the Planning Board, the Zoning Board of Appeals, and the Conservation Commission.
Data sources
Parcel currently monitors the agendas and minutes pages for each board:
- Planning Board: Planning Board cases, including hearings, continuances, and decisions.
- Zoning Board of Appeals: variance and finding requests and their outcomes.
- Conservation Commission: wetlands filings and Orders of Conditions.
For current Planning Board cases, Parcel also tracks case documents posted to the City’s document center, such as applications, plans, staff comments, and decisions.
Coverage depth
Quincy coverage is built from meeting documents. A single agenda or set of minutes often covers several cases, and Parcel tracks each case as its own project.
The minutes archive Parcel reads reaches back to 2013 for the Planning Board and 2010 for the Zoning Board of Appeals and Conservation Commission. Agendas are tracked from 2025 onward, because the City keeps roughly one year of agendas online. The dataset is updated incrementally as the City posts new agendas and minutes.
Conservation Commission decisions
An Order of Conditions from the Conservation Commission is a wetlands determination, not a land-use approval. Parcel records it as an environmental_review signal rather than an entitlement_approval, so a wetlands order never marks a Quincy project as approved.
